The most recent Stage IV humanities unit was an exciting research endeavor called "The Ology Project." This unit was inspired by the popular and informative book series which includes topics such as Dragonology, Monsterology, Pirateology, and Egyptology. Stage IV students chose a topic of interest, conducted research, and chose a method for sharing their information and new knowledge. Some students selected typing a paper, creating a poster, building a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, or designing a glog. A glog?! Yes, a glog. It's like a blog...only cooler.
